Hello, December!

⭐️Bears, mice and a Christmas wallpaper⭐️

December is here, winter has officially started and when I think of winter I think of - bears. At the end of last year I made a forest scene for the folktale week challenge, titled Full Moon and that is still my best selling print on Society6. I am thinking of turning it into a picture book - if I do, how would that story go? I’ll be happy to hear your ideas in the comments 🐻.

When I saw this year’s folktale week prompt “costume”, a bear mimicking a bird popped in my mind (right) - I only later realised why that scene seemed familiar: I did a similar one last year for another Instagram challenge, Imaginary book cover, “Katinka and the Bear” (left).

The bear with the bird is now also available as print in the Society6 shop.

And again bears were on my mind recently as I drew this Christmas themed card - we could all use a friendly bear hug (and peace in the world)…

While the bears are getting ready for hibernation, mice are having a party under the Christmas tree!
